Collection: Baby Camel Wool Knitting Yarn

By working with herder cooperatives in Mongolia to harvest the softest fiber from baby camels after their second and third winters, we procure the finest baby camel wool fiber available to spin up our knitting yarn.

Although high quality baby camel wool is much more rare than its other Mongolian wool counterparts (like cashmere) it is nearly as soft, it has beautiful undyed colors but and also makes a great base for dyeing. By increasing the popularity of high quality camel wool yarn, it increases the demand and price for fibers outside of cashmere and helps to diversify the income and herd composition of the herders we work.

All skeins are 100 grams of 100% pure Mongolian baby camel wool.
